Make Beautiful Origami Stars

These can be made from white computer paper for 4th of July.  Hang them from white thread (poke through with a needle) anywhere you like or attach them to a wreath.  Make them from red and blue papers also if you like.  Use them as filler in a vase or apothecary jar.  Scatter them along a buffet table.

If they are old enough, this can be a kids' Fourth of July craft too. For Christmas use scraps of wrapping paper to make the stars.  Have fun!

Another origami tutorial is for a much bigger 5-pointed star that looks really great for 4th of July.  It is supposed to be at a beginner level, but there are a lot of steps.  Click here for the very clear tutorial for the large star at OrigamiMake.
